CPS Technician Re-certification
Safe Kids Worldwide has new requirements for those who need to be recertified as child passenger safety technician. The online test is no longer required. Instead, technicians will need to complete 6 hours of continuing education to become recertified. Each technician will also have to attend one community event (such as a car seat check) and be checked off on five car seat installs by a senior instructor, as was required in the past. To learn more about the process, go to: http://www.safekids.org/certification/recertification07.html
